Who We Are

Leonard Developments is a father son team with extensive and unique knowledge in multiple aspects of real estate sales, development, construction, underwriting and investing.
Jack Leonard graduated Baylor University with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Real Estate with honors.  Jack started his real estate carrier as a real estate analyst, underwriter and owner’s rep for a major apartment and hotel developer in DFW.  After running and selling a successful logistics company, Jack got back into real estate as an investor in student housing, vacation homes, and industrial outside storage.  Jack has underwritten, developed and constructed each of his real estate holdings.  Jack brings his key knowledge of financial models, lot design and energy to Leonard Developments.
John Leonard started his career as a home builder in the early 90s.  Like Jack, John has invested, developed and operated a number of unique real estate holdings.  John has developed countless neighborhoods, has built affordable housing, constructed high-end estates, and an assisted living center.  John has also built dentist offices, warehouses, barbershops and manufacturing facilities; throughout all these unique projects John has always remained on schedule and within budget. John was one of the only people in real estate to make money during the 2008 housing crisis by thinking outside the box and never taking on too much.  John brings his years of experiences as a contractor, developer and key negotiator to Leonard Developments.
